I'm Rhea Kay, and artist and designer based in the Shetland Islands.

​

I have always had a great interest in portraiture; it is what formulated my Advanced Higher Art portfolio which was selected to exhibit in the Scottish Advanced Higher Art & Design Exhibition at Strathclyde University in 2013. 

​

In that same year, I was first commissioned to draw a picture of a couple from a photobooth photograph. Since then, with word of mouth and Shetland's supportive community, I have been completing an increasing collection of commissioned portraits. 

 

Over the years I have developed more experience and a stronger set of skills that I wish to continue to expand on. If you would like to have a high quality hand drawn portrait as a gift to loved one, or simply for yourself, I would be delighted to hear from you.
